BIO
Maxime Elliot is a French singer-songwriter based in Bristol, UK.
Born in Lyon, Maxime grew up listening to soul music, reggae, and French pop. Emerging as an independent pop-soul artist, he released his debut EP “Purple Groove” in 2022, supported by BBC Introducing and Amazing Radio. Drawing inspiration from Leon Bridges, Olivia Dean and Christine & The Queens, his sound features a warm and elegant aesthetic that relies on mainstream and soulful genre fusion, bilingual expression, and cinematic storytelling. In 2024, Maxime is set to release new music and bring his funky & dramatic performances to venues in Bristol and beyond.
