A warm, raw, and elegant sound aesthetic. Love stories set against a backdrop of groove. Sometimes velvet and sometimes glitter, but resolutely pop, Maxime Elliot flirts with funk while delivering sharp yet seductive lyrics. 

Born in Lyon, Maxime grew up listening to soul music, reggae, and French pop. Emerging as an independent pop-soul artist, he released his debut EP “Purple Groove” in 2022, supported by BBC Introducing and Amazing Radio. Drawing inspiration from Leon Bridges, Olivia Dean and Christine & The Queens, his sound features mainstream and soulful genre fusion, bilingual expression, and cinematic storytelling.
